Here are a few shots of "opening day" the Apple Store on Boylston Street. We were quite impressed with the energy of the staff and crowd. The central staircase is simply stunning. A great addition to Boston.

I have changed out almost all of my lights except for the dimmables which I have in a few ceiling fans.

I read some articles on different kinds of bulbs and ended up buying mine online from http://www.springlightstore.com. They gave me free shipping which offset some of the higher cost of these bulbs.

I also found this nice little CFL Energy Savings calculator at http://www.springlightcfl.com/consumer/energy_savings_calculator.aspx to estimate how much one might actually save by making the switch.

Choosing the right home theater may be in the bag, but how do we find a way out when the format war is factored in? Do we take CNET.com's
cue and wait?
Anyway, heres my two favorite home theater trend spotters: CNET
and ConsumerSearch.com. Home theater tips here
