Chevy Volt version 1.5

So from a really cool looking BMW design tweak yesterday, to another push down the road toward gasoline independence. Recently we saw a GM protoype called the Chevy Volt. Its powertrain was the first E-Flex, powered by a battery with an engine assist. At the 2007 Shanghai Motor Show, GM is unveiling the second major E-Flex variant with a hydrogen fuel cell powertrain. This new E-Flex version is powered by GM’s new fifth-generation stack, which may well be the best performing fuel cell yet. Pretty wild stuff. When can I get something that plugs into the grid (and ultimately into my solar system!?)
