Awesome Human Picture

Apparently during the WW I years (early 1900’s), Mole and Thomas made some incredible human pictures by using thousands of sailors or soldiers in uniform to create images. I’d never heard of them before but clearly they should be remembered. Here is a link to some more images from these guys. Nice work in very primitive times (photographically)  especially the careful placement of uniforms and hats to create tonal effects within the image.  As you look at the other pictures, you’ll see that this was an important part of their art.
