Tesla Sedan Model Pics Released

Some of these were leaked early by Kevin Rose via Twitter, but most are from Jason Calacanis.  This is the next Tesla model set to go on sale late in 2010.  It will be their first sedan and of course is totally electric.  Base price $57,400, expected federal tax credit $7,500, for an effective price of $49,900.  The first units could be available in 2011.  300 mile battery range.  0-60 in 5.5 seconds. No gas.  And check out the picture of what appears to be a touch screen computer in the dash.  Wow.

Grow Your Own Fresh Air – Kamal Meattle at TED
